Core Questions
The Essentials
Fleetech is purpose-built for public-sector and law enforcement fleet managers — specifically municipal fleet departments, law enforcement agencies, fire and emergency services, and enterprise multi-site fleets. Every feature is designed around the specific pressures these organizations face: strict compliance requirements, officer safety liability, limited budgets, and rigorous government audits. If you manage vehicles that protect public safety, Fleetech was built for you.
Fleetech automatically assigns each vehicle a grade from A through F based on a combination of weighted factors: repair frequency, total repair cost year-to-date, out-of-service duration, mileage relative to scheduled PM intervals, and the number of repeat issues on the same component. The scoring engine runs continuously — as new maintenance records are submitted, grades update in real time. A grade of D or F immediately triggers a risk flag on the command dashboard, alerting supervisors before a compromised vehicle can be deployed.
No — and this is by design. Once a maintenance record is submitted and approved by an administrator, it becomes immutable. It cannot be altered, deleted, or backdated by any user, including platform administrators. This is a core compliance guarantee. The permanent, tamper-proof nature of every record is what makes Fleetech defensible in legal proceedings, government audits, insurance investigations, and internal affairs reviews. The full chain of custody is preserved exactly as entered.
Yes. Fleetech includes a one-click PDF export system built specifically for audit submission. You can generate a complete, professionally formatted audit log for any vehicle, any date range, or any action type in seconds. The exported PDF includes vehicle identifiers, timestamps, technician attribution, repair details, and a summary header formatted for direct submission to oversight authorities. There is no manual formatting or data extraction required — the system generates a submission-ready document on demand.
Fleetech uses true multi-tenant isolation enforced at the database layer via Row Level Security (RLS). Every organization — whether a city fleet department, law enforcement agency, or enterprise division — gets its own completely isolated workspace. Your vehicles, maintenance records, users, alerts, and audit logs are scoped exclusively to your organization. This is not just a UI filter. Even at the raw database level, a query from one organization cannot return rows belonging to another. There is zero cross-organization data visibility by architectural design, not by convention.
For fleets of 125 or more vehicles, Fleetech offers Enterprise Solutions with a custom pricing model. Enterprise engagements include volume-based vehicle pricing, multi-department or multi-location configurations, custom integrations, dedicated infrastructure options, SLA guarantees, and a white-glove onboarding program. Contact our sales team at sales@fleetechapp.com or request a demo — we'll build a proposal specific to your fleet size, organizational structure, and compliance requirements.
Yes — it is specifically optimized for them. Fleetech was designed with the understanding that deploying an officer in a compromised vehicle is not just an operational failure — it is a safety and liability failure. The platform's zero-blindspot monitoring, immutable maintenance logs, forensic-grade attribution, and automated risk alerts were all built to address the unique accountability demands of law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical service fleets. Fleetech treats fleet management as a matter of public safety, not just operational efficiency.
Pricing & Plans
Yes. All Fleetech plans are annual subscriptions. There are no monthly billing options. The annual model ensures continuous platform availability and keeps your team fully onboarded year-round without service interruptions.
Fleetech offers a live demo mode for evaluation purposes. For a full production deployment, we work with prospective customers through a structured demo and onboarding process to ensure the platform meets your fleet's specific requirements before billing begins.
Yes. If your fleet grows beyond your current tier mid-year, you can upgrade at any time. Fleetech applies a prorated credit for the remaining months of your current plan toward the upgraded tier.
Security & Data
All Fleetech data is stored in a managed, SOC 2-compliant cloud infrastructure. Each organization's data is isolated at the Row Level Security layer. No data is stored locally on user devices — all records are cloud-native and accessible from any authorized device.
Only users explicitly provisioned to your organization's workspace can access your data. Role-based access control further limits what each user can see and do. Platform-level engineers have zero access to your tenant's production data by policy and architecture.
Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days in a read-only state to allow for export. After that period, all data is permanently deleted from the platform per our data retention policy. We provide full data export tooling before any deletion occurs.
